Our Story

We started with a

Familia Bakery opened its doors in 1998 on North Ocean Avenue with one belief: that the best bread comes from patience, quality ingredients, and a whole lot of love. What began as a one-oven operation has grown into Farmingville's favorite neighborhood bakery — but our philosophy hasn't changed.

Every morning at 4 a.m., our bakers are at work — kneading sourdough, folding butter into croissants, and preparing everything from scratch. No shortcuts. No preservatives. Just honest, handmade food that tastes like it should.
